| 2003 |
The Alumni Association of the Department had participated in a number of Departmental activities. For example, they donated a portion of the expenditure incurred in connection with the setting up of Air-conditioned Seminar Hall. Periodic seminars by the alumni members, who are placed abroad, were also held. |

The Alumni Association of the Department had participated in a number of Departmental activities. Periodic seminars by the alumni members were also held. |

The Alumni Association of the Department donated an intercom facility to the Department. Some of the alumni members, residing abroad made talks in the Department |

Dr.Suraj Lal Unniappan, C.I.H.R fellow, Dept. of Cellular & Physical Sciences, University of British Columbia, Canada, an alumnus of the Dept. gave talk “Ghrelin: a novel multifunctional hormone in gold fish, in January.
Dr. Biju B. Thomas, an alumnus of our Dept. and currently in USA visited and gave a talk in June. |

The Alumni Association of the Department supported the upgradation of department facilities. |
